Stop calculating. Start producing.
A working studio for DJs and producers is half ears and half math. DJ Toolkit collects the boring, error-prone half — BPM phase grids, EQ-collision heat maps, LUFS targets, sidechain envelopes, cue-point geometry, Camelot wheels — into 22 fast, visual tools that run entirely in your browser. No signup, no upload, no tracking beyond standard ad cookies.

Why this toolkit exists
Most "free calculator" sites stop at a single number in a single box. Producers don't need that — they need decisions: should the kick own 60 Hz or 80 Hz? Is my transition going to land on a downbeat? Will Spotify turn my master down 4 LUFS? DJ Toolkit answers those questions with a live visualisation, so you can see the answer before you commit to a move in the DAW.
Visual, not just numeric
Every tool draws the answer on a canvas. EQ conflicts, sidechain curves, phase grids, Camelot wheels — all rendered live as you type.
Nothing leaves your browser
All math runs in JavaScript on this page. Your audio, your BPMs, your draft arrangements never touch a server.
Honest about limits
Every page has a "Limitations" section. We won't tell you a web toy replaces a calibrated DAW meter or a mastering engineer.
All 22 tools, grouped by what they do
Five categories, each one a workflow you'll actually use.
BPM Sync Phase Grid
Watch two decks drift out of phase over 4 minutes. Spots ±0.5% integer ratios.
TimelineCue Point Distance
Draggable timeline, distance to next memory cue, beat-feel translation.
StretchBPM Time-Stretch Duration
Side-by-side duration bars + algorithm-quality warning above ±20%.
Drum Grid16-Step Drum Pattern Builder
Click-to-toggle 4×16 grid, swing, ghost-velocity. Copyable text export.
Mixing & Transitions
Plan two-deck sets, sculpt automation curves, sidechain duck with confidence.
Mix Point Planner
Parallel timelines with the overlap shown. Computes exact drop-in bar & beat.
BezierAutomation Curve Editor
Drag bezier handles on a canvas, export the curve as text or CSV.
Bode PlotFilter Sweep Visualiser
Live frequency-response plot + sweep-over-time on two canvases.
Meter StripGain Staging Helper
Vertical level strip through a plugin chain, red flag if you stack +dB stages.
EnvelopeSidechain Ducking Calculator
Draws the duck envelope over time and rates the "pump feel" (subtle → extreme).
Mastering & Loudness
Hit streaming targets without crushing dynamics. Plan your chain order.
LUFS Loudness Targeter
Spotify / Apple / YouTube / EBU / Club pass-fail table. How many dB to add/remove.
FlowchartMastering Chain Order Picker
Genre-aware ordered chain. Signal-flow diagram with per-stage reasoning.
GR CurveCompressor Threshold Helper
Transfer curve + GR-over-time canvas. Per-instrument threshold presets.
Heat MapEQ Conflict Detector
Overlays two EQ curves, shades the conflict region, suggests a give-and-take split.
ParametricHeadphone EQ Compensation
17 popular headphones. 5-band parametric EQ correction to paste into any DAW.
Key Shift Visualiser
Highlights shifted notes on a piano-roll view, suggests diatonic chord subs.
CamelotCamelot Wheel Helper
Interactive wheel, compatible-key glow, mix-in/mix-out point hints.
Chop GridSample Chop Suggester
MPC / SP-404 conventions. Pad-bank assignment output.
DecayReverb Tail Advisor
Pre-delay ms vs BPM. Warns if decay exceeds one bar.
ArrangementTrack Structure Timer
Genre-aware bar counts per section, printable arrangement sheet.
A worked example: a 4-bar transition
Say you're moving from a 124 BPM house track to a 128 BPM techno track. You have 32 bars of the outgoing track left and you want an 8-bar EQ-style crossfade. Open Mix Point Planner, set track A at 4:00 left, track B length 6:30, transition 8 bars, curve "EQ". The two timelines line up, the tool tells you the next downbeat where B should drop is bar 1 of the fade, and the EQ split curve shows deck A keeping the lows for the first 4 bars while deck B comes up on the highs. Then jump to LUFS Targeter to confirm your master sits at −14 LUFS integrated so Spotify doesn't pull it down. Three tools, one decision chain.
Decision chains we recommend
- DJ set Camelot Wheel → BPM Sync Phase Grid → Mix Point Planner
- Mixing Gain Staging → EQ Conflict Detector → Compressor Threshold → Sidechain Ducking
- Mastering Chain Order → Compressor Threshold → LUFS Targeter
- Arrangement Structure Timer → Key Shift → Reverb Tail
- QA before bounce Stem Energy → Mix Checklist → SPL Check
